Community Pop-Up
We offer a range of community programs. Our full calendar may be found at www.cARTie.org. If you are a community-based organization interested in collaborating on an Artist-Educator Talk, Art After Dark Event, Art + Literacy Event, Community Day Pop-Up, and/or Farmers Marker Community Pop-Up, please reach out to start a conversation.
Our Art After Dark Events offer informal gatherings at pop-up locations for diverse family audiences to come together for an evening of conversation, food, live music, student-artist talks, museum bus tours, art-making, film, and more.

Our Art + Literacy Events offer themed family-friendly programs at local library locations that include a theatrical read-aloud, museum bus tour, and art-making activity.
Our Community Day Pop-Ups offer informal open-house time at local community day celebrations/events for diverse families to explore the museum bus with different prompts and activities, and create collaborate works of art.

Teacher Workshop
Our Teacher Workshops offer one-off tailored professional learning sessions ranging from 45- to 90-minutes in length – or modified as necessary – for up to twenty elementary teachers designed to support their integration of arts and museum-based learning approaches, as brought together in the cARTie Curriculum*.
*The cARTie Curriculum is carefully aligned with the National Core Art Standards, English Language Arts Common Core State Standards, Early Learning and Development Standards, Social Emotional Learning Standards, Social Justice Standards, and 21st Century Skills, and inspired by The Reggio Emilia Approach, Artful Thinking, Studio Habits of Mind, Visual Thinking Strategies, and Inclusive and Mindfulness-Based Pedagogies.

Museum-School Multi-Visit
Our Museum-School Multi-Visit Programs offer scaffolded series of two enrichment days over the course of the school year for up to five PreK-2 classes (ages 3-8) each day to introduce young children to the art museum environment, integrate their prior knowledge and needs, and thereby nurture their critical and creative thinking (including one 45-minute session per class per visit – timing may be modified as necessary)*.
