Two hours of exhibition exploration, student awards, and art-making provocations

The Invitation

cARTie is fueling up for another year of powerful art museum education in elementary schools and preschools with limited access to the arts. Before we drive off, we want to bring our community together to celebrate the student-artists, leaders, and community members who made this year's exhibition come to life.

Come one, come all, and join us for an Open House and Student Awards Ceremony!

For two hours, we'll bring you on an exclusive tour of our new exhibition, involve you in our celebratory awards ceremony, and give you a taste of the programming we're bringing to young children.

Your suggested donation ticket purchase goes directly toward cARTie programming in and across schools without arts access.

Here's how we'll spend time celebrating:

5PM — Arrive & Explore

welcome drinks, snacks, exhibition exploration, time to connect

5:15PM — Opening Remarks

a collective moment to celebrate all that went into cARTie's new, traveling exhibition

5:30PM — Awards Ceremony

a presentation of awards to cARTie's featured student-artists, leaders, and community members

6PM — Art-Making Provocations

a series of art projects and invitations, for you to choose from

6:40PM — Closing Ceremony

a final reflection and expression of congratulations

How to prepare

  • Think about what confidence and bravery mean to you
  • Come prepared to reconnect with your inner artist
  • Get ready to cheer and celebrate the student-artists behind cARTie

About cARTie @ Lotta Studio

Once a month, cARTie takes over the first-floor gallery at Lotta Studio and installs an exhibition of student-artist(s)' work for community engagement. While the exhibition is up, cARTie develops programming for families, children, youth, adolescents, educators, donors, sponsors, artists, and more. If you have an idea for a program you'd like cARTie to organize, reach out.

What to Expect

  • Time to explore cARTie's new, traveling exhibition
  • A presentation of awards to cARTie's featured student-artists, leaders, and community members
  • A series of art projects and invitations, for you to choose from
  • A collective moment to celebrate all that went into cARTie's new exhibition
