Job Overview

cARTie is growing! We are looking for passionate early childhood art museum educators to join our team. Together, we lead art and museum enrichment programs for classes of PK-2 students across Connecticut. All cARTie early childhood art museum educators benefit from ongoing professional learning and development.

What You’ll Do

You bring care for the quality of young children's early art museum experiences and memories.

We ask that you bring knowledge and passion for promising practices in early childhood art museum education.
It is important you are able to work with diverse populations.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A growth mindet is necessary.

What You’ll Bring

You benefit from a breadth and depth of trainings and experiences in early childhood art and museum education.

You gain professional learning certifications in teaching critical and creative thinking through art, as well as deep knowledge about The Reggio Emilia Approach, VTS, Studio Habits of Mind, SEL, DEIAB, Standards, and more.
You become skilled at working with students of all needs, abilities, backgrounds, and interests.
You understand promising practices across early childhood and art education fields.
You build bonds with your fellow educators.

We ask that you are able to work in multiple locations across Connecticut, as well as from home using virtual methods of communication on occasion.
It is important that you have transportation to/from a range of school and community sites.
